",- Recommendation: Direct staff to incorporate the Housing and Human Concerns Committee's recommendations for HSFA for Fiscal Year 09-10 into the Fiscal Year 09-10 budget to be presented for review by Council in June. HSFA recommendations are being presented this evening as part of an overall Annual Action Plan for the City's use of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds. The Council will take no action on the HSFA recommendations at this time. Ms. Chin provided the report. Mayor Foust asked if she could have information on specific organizations and Ms. Chin will provide it. 9. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST Council Member Pierce spoke about the State budget impacting local budgets. She would like a presentation on the various propositions that will be on the ballot but the meeting of May 18th would be too late. Council discussed the pros and cons of a possible presentation. It was agreed that the Mayor and Vice Mayor will discuss this matter. Mayor Foust announced that she was appointed to the San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority. She will report more on this at a later time. Council Member Ira is concerned about the propositions. He would like more impartial information (such as links) on our website. He mentioned the League of Women Voters as a source of unbiased information. Mayor Foust announced that the Council will adjourn to its next regular meeting on May 18,2009. 10. ADJOURNMENT - M/S Aguirre/Pierce to adjourn the meeting at 10:30 p.m. Motion carried by unanimous voice vote with Vice Mayor Howard absent.
