This gathering brought together elected officials, educators, non-profits, <br />business professionals. city, county, and regional agency staff, and labor officials for a three day program <br />that included session discussions on High Speed Rail, Role of Non-Profits, Silver TsunamiMI~rce <br />Development for the 211t Century, The Mess in Sacramento and Banking on the Peninsula. Keynote <br />Speakers included Steve Heminger, Metropolitan Transportation Commission, State Senator Abel <br />Maldonado, Shelleye Archambeau, CEO of Metric Steam and Dr. Benham Tabrizi. Reports must be <br />submitted before the City of Redwood City wiD pay per diem or reimbursement for the conference or the meeting.
