Planned Development Project looks nice and neat from the inside of the
proj ect but it infringes on the rights of all the neighbors all around the project
by circumventing city codes. The project talks about the "open space" inside
the project but all the two and three story structures will be looking into our
small yards and homes. The noise level will increase with more people,
building lights and yard lights will invade our property and most of all the
sun will disappear from our property.

2. On one of the prints, it talks of the new retaining wall that borders my
property . We have trees and established plants and shrubs that will be
affected by the retaining wall by possibly cutting roots and damaging or
destroying the plants. Who will pay to replace them? The retaining wall
shows a higher elevation of dirt on the project side of the retaining wall.
Will that leave our properties "catch basins" for ground water? On heavy
rains, ground water drains into our yards and has flooded up to one foot at
house level. This is also true for our neighbors, Alice & Roy Salvato.

3. With the homes so close to our homes and being two to three stories high,
our yards won't dry out during the winter months with limited sunlight. This
also would inhibit us from installing solar panels for the future.

4. Parking is a problem with overflow from the apartment buildings on
Woodside Road. Added parking from 24 additional homes is going to make
it very difficult. Most families use a portion of their garage for storage,
forcing them to park in their driveways or on the street. These homes don't
have driveways. Most families have more than one car. This means many of
the twenty-four families will be using on street parking because of
inadequate parking spaces on site.

5. Traffic will increase on Union Avenue because of people wanting to shop
at Safeway and not wanting to drive through two stop lights to get home.

C. 0 4l{:,vv\..)

\\):RLl 5G\'C 'f\eA~6-C)1\

l \0 c) 0 U. ~Ci,^ \4 0-{-,~
"'tZe.6~ C..\-, C~ 0:50 --3G, lr-cOv"78
