This can only be successful with the support of the Police Department
. Both streets are now very clean and look visibly better
. Some residents on Douglas readily help in the cleaning and have prepared some areas
for sweeper's arrival for cleaning
. Residents are very cooperative on both streets.
. Some businesses along Middlefield Road have the street cleaning schedule posted in
their shops

UDdated .. Area SDecific Observations

Marshall Street (west-side}
. Predominately commercial properties
front on Broadway with rear service
entries or parking lots at rear on
Marshall Street

. Is a magnet for abandoned or
disabled cars.

. Noticeably less trash on the street
between street clean iogs

. One business agreed to hire a
landscape firm to deal with the trash &
debris in their landscaped areas.

Marshall Street feast-side)
. Apartment complexes management
offered to distribute flyers and
calendars about the parking
enforcement to tenants

. Some natural debris near trees, usual
expected leaf and vegetation debris.

. Cars are moving ahead of the street
sweeper providing access to the curb.
Noticeable improvement the west side
of Marshall Street

Doualas Ave
. City-side of street is low density residential .

. Cited vehicles tend to be at either end of the street, closest to the commercial
businesses located on Middlefield Road and Spring Street

. Parked vehicles are not a problem in front of residential properties

. Responsive and cooperative in moving cars still very good and improving

. Businesses on Middlefield Road were given postcard calendar schedules for Douglas
Ave

. Douglas Ave residents now receive the same level of service that County residents on
the south side of the street receive

Page 4
