<br />6.1C <br />Prior to writing specifications for these vehicles, staff researched into the possibility of Page 2 <br />replacing these vehicles with hybrid or alternative fuel vehicles. However, due to <br />specific operational requirements these trucks are used for (heavy duty field use), there <br />are no hybrid vehicles in this category being offered at this time.
