The consultant will transfer right-ot- <br />way from the City to Caltrans, prepare a Record of Survey to show the State right-of- <br />way for filing with County of San Mateo, and prepare a Title Report for quitclaim deed. <br /> <br />Amendment No. 2 - Landsca e Desi n <br />AGREEMENT/AMENDMENT DATE <br />A reeme~ 11ro1ro5 <br />Amendment NO.1 01/19/06 <br /> <br />AMOUNT DESCRIPTION <br />$59 060.00 Landsca e Desi n Work <br />$16,500.00 Extend project landscaping limits <br />alon Marine Parkwa <br />PROPOSED $33,900.00 Extend project landscaping limits <br />alon Ralston Avenue <br />The proposed Amendment No. 2 to the agreement with MTCo for landscape design <br />provides for the design, bid and construction support required to extend the project's <br />landscaping limits along a section of Ralston Avenue. Irrigation at the site is currently <br />served by the Mid-Peninsula Water District, and the consultant will work with our <br />Recycled Water Program to irrigate the eastern portion of the interchange. Redwood <br />City is required to coordinate this activity with Caltrans as Redwood City is the lead <br />agency on the Ralston Avenue/Marine Parkway/Route 101 Interchange Project. The <br />City of Belmont has separately retained the landscape sub-consultant to incorporate the <br />design modifications into the final contract. These changes will be segregated in the bid <br />schedule, and Belmont will pay for any cost increase resulting from the modifications. <br /> <br />Amendment No.2 <br /> <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />Council may choose not to approve Amendment No. 4 to the Agreement for design <br />consulting and construction services support or Amendment NO.2 to the Agreement for <br />landscape design with Mark Thomas & Company, Inc. for the Ralston Avenue/Marine <br />Parkway/Route 101 Interchange Project. Council may direct staff to modify the scope of <br />work, or seek other qualified service providers. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds have been previously approved and appropriated and appear in FY 2008/09 <br />budget as RWS-STID Phase 1&2 - Construction Fund, R/S Traffic Improvement District <br />with an available balance of $491,973.82 as of April 30, 2009. <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Chu Chang, P.
