.

I recently met with Brad Smith of PPG Construction, and I have known Brad Smith and Steve Ackley for many
years. Mostly, I have seen and been through heir housing projects, the multi-units, the condos, the high-end
homes, stacked units, etc. They do an exceiient job, far better than the junk being built as housing on Sand Hill
Road next to Ronald McDonald, as medical housing, or other similar sized projects.

I know from the retired Building Director at Menlo Park how experienced and facile they have been with projects
in Menlo Park to make the project happen the way it is planned. . PPG did do 600 Willow, known as Pacific Parc
in Menlo Park, and it featured two and three bedroom townhomes as I recall. They were very well received, did
not block anyone's views, and sell well over their original prices even now. They also built their own office building
on Oak Grove with three condo units on top. They have built units in Sunnyvale, and they also built on Santa Cruz
Avenue, with Bill Butler.

If the proposed project is to be built by PPG and Bill Butler ( who also has an excellent reputation and I know him
and his work), I have no problem.

As you know, I have a completely different view of the 885 Woodside Road project that Randy Lamb jammed
down our throats, with three variances, no transparency, built over 9,000 gallons of spilled gasoline, which still
has not been tested properly, and has been stopped for the last six months. I will guarantee you that his proforma
is at least 40-50% below what he proposed, and I would guess his cost is about $700 foot, which is absurd. We
cannot sell Parc Atherton condos into the mid-500 range, and we are now struggling to sell homes on Danbury
Lane in the $875K range. It is an ill-conceived mess.

I am in favor of the one and one-half acre project that Brad showed me, and how they reduced its size, so it has
literally minimal effect to neighbors, and will help clean that street up.

Sincerely,
