If the property owner wants to replace undamaged and contiguous concrete <br />they must pay 100% of that repair cost. <br /> <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1. Award the contract to a higher bidder. Staff is confident the low bidder can <br />complete the project. <br />2. Re-bid the contract. Staff does not believe a better price will be received through <br />another bid. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds totaling $311,082 are available in the FY2008-2009 Capital Improvement <br />Program Tree Preservation and Sidewalk Repair Program. Additional funds in the <br />amount of $950,000 are expected to be allocated for this project in the FY 2009-20010 <br />Capital Improvement Program budget cycle.
