P- 1413 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING NEGATIVE DECLARATION AND <br />AUTHORIZING FILING OF NOTICE OF DETERMINATION <br /> <br />(WHARF 3 MAINTENANCE DREDGING PROJECT) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Port of Redwood City proposes to conduct <br /> <br />maintenance dredging on the berth area of Wharf 3 at the Port of <br /> <br />Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the maintenance dredging is to <br /> <br />restore the berth area of Wharf 3 to its original depth; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to, and reviewed by, this <br /> <br />Board a Negative Declaration and attached initial study on the <br /> <br />Project; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT CO~ISSIONERS OF THE CITY <br /> <br />OF REDWOOD -CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Board hereby finds, determines and concludes as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />a. The project does not have the potential to degrade the <br /> <br />quality of the environment, substantially reduce the <br /> <br />habitat of a fish or wildlife species, cause a fish or <br /> <br />wildlife population to drop below self sustaining <br /> <br />levels, <br /> <br />threaten to eliminate a plant or animal <br /> <br />,...
