The major components of the Projec# are as follow. <br /> 1. Treatmen#impravemenfis consisting of filter modifications, chemica!feed addition and <br /> fil#ered water line at the SBSA si�e --owned and operated by South Baysid� System <br /> Authoriiy (SBSA}. <br /> Status: 1�0% comp�ete and �n service. <br /> 2. Disinfection facilitv consisting of new chlorine contac# chambers at the SBSA site — <br /> owned by the City and operated by SBSA. <br /> Status: 100% complete and in sen►ice. <br /> 3. St�qe and pumpin�facilities focated within the SBSA pfant property(includes a back- <br /> up supply line for potable wa#er}—owned and operated by the City. <br /> Status: 1�0% complefie and in senrice. <br /> 4. Distribution sYstem consisting of new transmission pipelines throughout the water <br /> service area, in street rights-of-ways — owned or with the right to construct in, and <br /> opera#ed by the City. <br /> Status: Phase E Bid Packages 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9 are 140% constructed. Bid <br /> Package 8 is under construction. The last bid package - Bid Package 5A, wil[ be <br /> available for bidding nex# month. <br />
