The Commission established the Public Art Fund so they could accumulate <br /> funds towards the purchase of a piece of public art for Redwood City. The Commission <br /> has a current budget baiance of $14,561.80 for Fiseal Year 20�8-2�09 and does not <br /> �nticipate other expenses this fiscal year. The current balance ot the Publ�c Art Fund is <br /> $18,085.00. <br /> No decisions on the use of the City's Public Art Fund are associated with this request, <br /> and the Civic Cultural Commission will retum to Counci! with any request to use the <br /> Public Art Fund to obtain their input and approval. <br /> ALTERNATIVES <br /> The Council could choose not to approve the transfer, in which case funds would roll <br /> into the ending balance for the General Fund on June 30, 2009. <br /> FISCAL 1MPACT <br /> Funds totaling $�4,5�1.8Q are eurrently in the Civic Cultura! Commission budget.
