WHEREAS, the Coopera�ive Agreement was amended on August 24, 20U6 thro�agh <br /> the First Amendment to the Cooperative Agreement befiween the County of San <br /> Niateo and rhe CEty of Redwood City for Preservation of the Historic County <br /> Caurthouse Block, Removai of the South Annex, Reconstruc#ion of the Cour�house <br /> Fa�ade and Creafiion of a Court�ouse Plaza, and Gran# of Easemenfi and L.icense <br /> {"First Arnendment"} to expand the 6'roject ta inciude the construction and placeme�t <br /> of a restroom facility. <br /> C. ►IVHEREAS, the Cooperative Agreement pro�ides the City authority to sublet any or <br /> all portions o� the Courthouse Square, inciuding licenses to vendors, without the <br /> consent of the Caunty for the purposes of main�aining the Cour#house Square as a <br /> public plaza. <br /> D. WHEREAS, Licensor has possession of that portion of Courthouse Square identified <br /> as "License Area "1 A" �the "License Area"}described in the legal description and plat <br /> map identified as Exhibit "A" and �(lustrated in the site layout iden#ified as Exhibit <br /> "B", both exhibits are attached hereto and incorporated herein by �-eference, which <br /> structure is (ocated within Courthouse Square in the City of Redwood City, County of <br /> San (Vlateo, State of California (the "Licensor's Property lnterest" and the <br /> "Premises"). <br /> E. WHEREAS, Licensee wishes to obtain a �icense to use License Area 1 A of the <br /> Courthouse Square for the use of 16 fiab�es and 32 chairs provided by the Licensor. <br /> F. WHEREAS, Licensor and Licensee wrsh to enter �n#o an agreement #or the use of <br /> the Prem�ses by Licensee, its agents, and customers. <br /> NQV{1 TNEREFt)RF, the par#ies agree as foflows: <br /> 9.
