Fee - The written notice of appeal shall be accompanied by a reasonable filing <br />fee in an amount as may be established by resolution of the Council. Such filing <br />fees shall not be refundable. <br /> <br />4. Public Hearing - No public hearing need be held on appeals; provided, however, <br />a public hearing may be held if deemed necessary in the public interest by the <br />City Manager. <br /> <br />5. Action on Appeal - The decision of the City Manager shall be final. <br /> <br />Permit Fees <br /> <br />Except as otherwise provided by this Chapter or any other applicable law, rule or <br />regulation, or by the terms of a permit, license, lease or contract which has been <br />specifically authorized by the City Council, the permit.iapplication fees and other <br />additional fees and charges for use of Courthouse Square pursuant to this Chapter shall <br />be established by the City Council by resolution. <br /> <br />SECTION V. CONDUCT AND ACTIVITIES PROHIBITED UNLESS PERMIT <br />GRANTED <br />Without written permission of the Director, no person on the premise of Courthouse <br />Square shall: <br /> <br />A. Bathe in or pollute the water of any fountain or body of water; <br /> <br /> <br />B. Camp or lodgett'1erein atitaDY time, or of~erwise remain overnight; <br /> <br />C. Climb <br />fountain; <br /> <br /> <br />shrub, fence, pole, building, construction or any <br /> <br />D. Create a fire an appliance, liquid fuel device, wood/charcoal <br />barbeque or by other means except candles, which shall be used in <br />accordance with the Redwood City's Fire Code; <br /> <br />E. Disturb in any unreasonable manner any concert, performance, exhibition or <br />other similar activities as approved by the City; <br /> <br />F. Drive or place motorized vehicles onto the Square for any reason; <br /> <br />G. Ride or operate a skateboard, bicycle, in-line skates, and other non-motorized <br />wheel devices with the exception of those with wheelchairs, adaptive aids and <br />strollers; <br /> <br />H. Encourage the lingering, roosting and/or congregating through feeding of non- <br />domesticated animal such as pigeons; <br /> <br />Page 100[12 <br />
