M. DUNCAN, the Building Inspector of <br /> <br />the said City of Redwood City, did, as required by Ordi-, <br /> <br />nance No. 303, post a notice to abate nuisanee upon the real <br /> <br />property situated in said city, County of San Mateo, state <br /> <br />of California, and particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />Lots 25, 26 and 27, in Block 4, <br />as shown and de:L,ineated on that certain map <br />entitled, "Resubdivision Portions of Blocks <br />1 and 2 of Subdivision tA' of Wellesley Park, <br />Redwood City, Cal.n, which was filed in the <br />office of the County Recorder of the County <br />of San :Me teo, sta te'.of California, on Angus t <br />9, 1920, in Book 10 of Maps, at page 36; also <br />known as 226 Edgewood Road, <br /> <br />and did send a copy of said notice, so posted, by registered <br /> <br />mail, postage prepaid, to the owner of said real property, <br /> <br />as said owner is listed upon the books of the City Assessor <br /> <br />of said City of Redwood City, to wit: ANNA M. RICE, at <br /> <br />226 Edgewood Road, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in and by said notice to abate nuisance <br /> <br />said Building Inspector of the City of Redwood City did fix <br />Tuesday, the 5th day of September, 1944, at the hour of <br />8:00 o'clock P. M. of said day at the Counc1l_ Chamber in the <br />Oi t'1 Hall on Middlefield Road in said 01 ty of Redwood 01 ty, <br />as the time and place when the owner of the building s1 tua ted. <br />upon said real property could appear and be heard and show <br />cause:; why said building should not be cOlldemnecr~ as a public <br />nuisance and abated by compelling discontinuance of the use <br /> <br />of said property for the accommodation of roomers who are not <br /> <br />members or the occupant1s family, and the service of meals to <br />boarders who are not members of such occupant1s family; and <br />WHEREAS, said Council did proceed with said hearing <br />and after considering all objections made and received does <br /> <br />-1- <br />
