DUNCAN, the Building Inspector of the said City of Redwood City, did, as required by Ordi-, nance No. 303, post a notice to abate nuisanee upon the real property situated in said city, County of San Mateo, state of California, and particularly described as follows: Lots 25, 26 and 27, in Block 4, as shown and de:L,ineated on that certain map entitled, "Resubdivision Portions of Blocks 1 and 2 of Subdivision tA' of Wellesley Park, Redwood City, Cal.n, which was filed in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San :Me teo, sta te'.of California, on Angus t 9, 1920, in Book 10 of Maps, at page 36; also known as 226 Edgewood Road, and did send a copy of said notice, so posted, by registered mail, postage prepaid, to the owner of said real property, as said owner is listed upon the books of the City Assessor of said City of Redwood City, to wit: ANNA M. RICE, at 226 Edgewood Road, Redwood City, California; and WHEREAS, in and by said notice to abate nuisance said Building Inspector of the City of Redwood City did fix Tuesday, the 5th day of September, 1944, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. M. of said day at the Counc1l_ Chamber in the Oi t'1 Hall on Middlefield Road in said 01 ty of Redwood 01 ty, as the time and place when the owner of the building s1 tua ted. upon said real property could appear and be heard and show cause:; why said building should not be cOlldemnecr~ as a public nuisance and abated by compelling discontinuance of the use of said property for the accommodation of roomers who are not members or the occupant1s family, and the service of meals to boarders who are not members of such occupant1s family; and WHEREAS, said Council did proceed with said hearing and after considering all objections made and received does -1-
