Mehra: <br /> <br />Thank you for talking on the telephone with me yesterday. This letter revises my April 17, 2009 letter <br />to you, and provides a revised strategy and budget for completing the EIR for the Laurel Way Project. <br /> <br />Out of Scope Costs <br />The following discussion provides a description of the out of scope costs incurred on this project as of <br />February 13, 2009. Please note that the out of scope cost of the project description sub task under <br />Task 1 has been reduced by $10,000 to reflect the fact that RMT is willing to absorb a portion of the <br />$56,568 in out of scope costs in a good faith effort to move forward and complete the project. <br /> <br />Task 1 <br /> <br />Task 1 of the EIR included the following tasks: <br /> <br />. Background review, <br />. Data gathering, <br />. Site visit, <br />. Review of the applicant's technical reports, <br />. Data requests in order to obtain a complete application, <br />. Preparation of the project description, <br />. Preparation of the Notice of Preparation, and <br />. Scoping meeting. <br /> <br />The RMT proposal assumed that Task 1 would require approximately 5 weeks to complete with a <br />budget of $17,166.
