MHAI RMT will be assisted by Illingworth & Rodkin in assessing .the potential noise
impacts of the project. The analysis in the EIR will quantify existing noise levels,
calculate future noise levels (particularly construction noise and additional traffic noise
gener.ated by the new residences), assess proje(;t noise impacts, and address any
mitigation measures that could reduce the noise impacts of the project.

Public Services

The EIR will include an analysis of whether local police, fire, and other emergency
services have the capacity to serve the .18 proposed residences at the project site, and
whether'the proposed l"oadway will provide adequate access for these services.
MHA I RMT will also analY7..e the capacity of the local school system to absorb the
demand likely to be created by the addition of 18 new residences on this site.

Traffic and Transportation

The proposed residential development would add additional traffic trips to the existing
cul-de~sa~, and could result in adverse traffic impacts in the area. :tvfHA I RMT will be
assisted by OmniMeans, a transportation consulting firm, in dete, rmining the amount of
traffic that would be generated by the development, the impacts of this new traffic on
roadway segments and inter~ections, traffic safety issues such as vehicle and pedesttian
. visibility along Laurel Way, emergency vehicle access, and the project parking design
and adequacy. Where appropriate and possible, the EIR will include mitigation
measures that could reduce the project impacts on traffic and transportation to a less
than sigItifi-cant level.

Utilities

MHAI RMT understands that no utilities currently'serve the project area. MHA 1 RMT
will investigate the specific infrastructure improvements that would be required to
provide water, wastewater, electricity, trash and recycling collection, and other utility
services to the site, and whether the utility companies that supply these services have
the capacity to serve the project site.

Element 2.1.
