Councilwoman Buehan said that although she wasn't sure it was always the
best way to start the week, she had settled on Mondays, but she was open to an
earlier starting time.

Councilman Claire said the Redwood City Council is the only one in the
County that meets four times a month. He said that before Council Members
consider changing the day of the week, he suggested they look at the number of
meetings they have each month. He said it was previously suggested that they
have two business meetings and one or two study sessions each month.
Councilman Claire said he was a 49er season ticket holder, but in the past the
Council had canceled the meetings when the 49ers were playing and made up
those meetings on the fifth Monday of the month. He said he works seven days
a week and Monday Council meetings were more convenient for l~m, as he
used the weekends to research Council agenda items.

M/S: LEII~ZIG/ TO HOLD TWO MEETINGS PER.
