<br />Attachment A <br /> <br />o Make adequate space available for a fulltime (a minimum of 30 hours) <br />site coordinator, classroom space for instruction/homework <br />assistance, playground/field and multi-purpose room for recreation <br />and enrichment activities <br />o Principal/CS Coordinator meet regularly (a minimum of monthly) with <br />site coordinator on program design, resources and problem-solving <br />o Recruit teaching staff to be involved in the program, if necessary <br />o Facilitate knowledge sharing of academic resources, curriculum foci, <br />school-wide learning opportunities (Le., health fair, etc) <br />o Co-develop and manage referral process into the program and <br />communication process to share information with teachers about <br />specific students <br />o Make available parent newsletter for information sharing to parents <br />o Share information regarding students' to facilitate team approach to <br />student's social, emotional and academic success <br />o Work in partnership with provider to develop plans to modify <br />programming as needed based on annual evaluation data <br /> <br />District Expectations: <br />o Administer all state and federal requirements (application, renewals, <br />attendance, contracts) <br />o Project manage evaluation, including hiring of outside evaluator <br />o Develop MOUs that outline program and partner responsibilities <br />o Ensure compliance with state and federal requirements and local <br />agreements/MOUs <br />o Facilitate space acquisition, referral process development and other <br />program needs at school sites <br />o Facilitate district/state requirements for hiring of partner staff <br />o Leverage district resources to facilitate integration between the school <br />day and after school day experiences <br />o Support partner resource development and resource sharing among <br />partners <br />o Coordinate district data for partners and evaluation <br />o Problem-solve with partners as challenges arise <br />o Facilitate and support collaborative oversight body <br />o Collect and disseminate necessary data to partners <br />o Support partner fundraising <br /> <br />Italicized expectations are state/federal requirements <br /> <br />5/26/09 <br /> <br />Page 3 of3 <br />
