<br />6.1A <br />Page 13 <br /> <br />56. The fire-resistance rating of exterior walls with a separation distance of 5 feet or less shall be rated <br />for exposure to fire from both sides (IBC 704.5). The distance from the new modular classrooms <br />to the imaginary line between the new modular classrooms and the existing Fellowship Hall is 5 <br />feet. The distance from existing Fellowship Hall to the imaginary line between the existing <br />Fellowship Hall and the new modular classrooms is 5 feet. Therefore, the fire-resistance rating of <br />the exterior walls of both the new modular classrooms and the existing Fellowship Hall shall be <br />rated for exposure to fire from both sides. The fire-resistance rating of the exterior walls of the <br />modular classrooms shall include the skirting surrounding the structure. The %-hour fire- <br />resistance rated windows shall not be the sliding type. These windows must be of fixed glazing. <br /> <br />57. Individual occupancies shall be separated from adjacent occupancies in accordance with <br />International Building Code Table 508.3.3 (ISC 508.3.3.4). A two-hour occupancy separation is <br />required between the kitchens and the classrooms in a non-sprinklered building. Show the <br />construction of all walls and doors separating kitchens and classrooms. <br /> <br />58. The required fire flow at the minimum residual pressure of 20 psi shall be required. (IFC Appendix <br />B) <br /> <br />59. The minimum number of fire hydrants and spacing requirements available to the building shall not <br />be less than that listed in International Fire Code Appendix C. Show the location of fire hydrants <br />on the site map. <br /> <br />60. The fire apparatus access roadway has opposing one-way traffic. <br /> <br />Where a Use Permit has not been used within one (1) year from the date of granting, either by <br />beginning of construction of the improvements or by the initiation of the activity which is the subject of <br />the Use Permit, said Permit shall automatically terminate and be of no further effect. <br /> <br />If approved, no building or zoning permit shall be issued, and no use shall be established except in <br />accordance with and subject to the terms and conditions outlined above, and in no case shall such <br />permit be issued or use established prior to the final action on any appeals that may be filed within the <br />appeal period. Any appeal made in accordance with the provisions of Section 48.2, Ordinance No. <br />1130 (Zoning Ordinance), must be received by the City Clerk no later than seven calendar days after <br />the date of the official action. As such, this Use Permit shall become effective on the eighth (8th) day <br />following the date of approval by the Zoning Administrator unless an appeal to said decision has been <br />filed in accordance with the provisions stated above. <br /> <br />Michelle G.
