<br />~,-., - ---'I,' <br /> <br />l~ ~ b - \ <br /> <br />~--... - <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 3t?(} <br /> <br />DETERMINING TO MAKE IMPROVEMENT WITHOUT COMPLIANCE WITH <br />INVESTIGATION ACT. <br /> <br />RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, that <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 1, 1946, this Council adopted its <br /> <br />Resolution of Preliminary Determination No. 299 entitled "Resolu- <br /> <br />tion of Preliminary Determination to make Public Improvements in <br /> <br />Hudson street from Jefferson Avenue to Woodside Roadrt to construct <br /> <br />certain public improvements more particularly therein described, <br /> <br />and did fix therein April 15th, 1946 as the time and place when and <br /> <br />where any and all person interested may appear and show cause, if <br /> <br />any they have, why the City Council should not find and determine <br /> <br />that the public convenience and necessity require the improvements <br /> <br />described and referred to in said resolution, without compliance <br /> <br />with the Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority <br /> <br />Protest Act of 1931; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, notice of the adoption of said Resolution of <br /> <br />Preliminary Determination and of said time and place of hearing <br />was given by the City Clerk by publication and posting for the time <br /> <br />and in the manner provided in said resolution and Ordinance No. <br /> <br />515 of said City, as appears from affidavits on file with the City <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br />~~REAS, One written objection to the undertaking of- <br /> <br /> <br />said proceedings without. first complying with the provisions of <br /> <br />said Investigation Act has'-':" been filed with the City Clerk <br /> <br />at or be~ore the time fixed for this hearing by persons interested, <br /> <br /> <br />owning or having an interest in real property within the proposed <br /> <br /> <br />assessment district, bearing their signatures, a description of <br /> <br />their property, and a statement of the nature of their interest <br /> <br />therein; and <br />
