Based on the geological and geotechnical data gathered, we will prepare an exploration <br /> report document�ng our services and addressing the following: <br /> • Discussion of �he field operations and laboratory tesring completed for this scope of <br /> services. <br /> � Pr�ysical properties of the typical soils encountered in the pro�ect area, <br /> • Assessment of geologicaUgeotechnical hazards at the subject site and in the genera� <br /> project area, as appropriate,including shallow groundwater,faulting,levee bank stability, <br /> expansive soils, Iiquefiable soils,and soft compressible�oils. <br /> � Characterization of the extents of soft cvmpressible materials in the upper portion of the <br /> profile a.�ong the Ievee. <br /> + Characterization of strength, stress history, and consolidation parameter profiles for <br /> cornpressible materials along the levee. <br /> � Seepage both through-le�ee and under-levee during design flood events. <br /> • Treatment of geotechnical constraints such as expansive soi�s, levee bank stabili�y, <br /> compr�sszble soiis, shal�ow groundwater, and Iiyuefiable svils,as necessary. <br /> • Conclusions and recommenda�ions for Ievee raise alt�rnatives, such as �ll placement and <br /> flood walls. <br /> Design Assistance Meetings and Consultation <br /> As required, we wil� interface wi�h the design team during preparation of project plans and <br /> specifications. �VV"e will provide re�iew of �ie project plans to confirm that our geotechnical <br /> recommenda�ions were incorporated.
