<br />---- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />If o. :3 5-a <br /> <br />GRANTING A VARIANCE IN THE USE OF LO~~S 21 <br />and 22 IN BLOCK 3 OF REDWOOD HIGHLANDS. <br /> <br />'VVHEREAS, an application w~s heretofore made to the <br /> <br />Planning Commission of the Oi ty of Redwood Oi ty by the ownel"' of <br /> <br />the real property hereinafter described, to rezone said property <br /> <br />fronl the Second Residential Bistrict Zone to Business District Zone <br /> <br />and notice of a public hearing thereon was given by order of said <br /> <br />Planning Commission for the time and in the manner required by <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 460 of this City, and such public hearing was held at <br /> <br />the regular meeting of said. Planning Commission on May 14, 1946, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />VT.t-IEREAS, said Planning Commission has not made any re- <br /> <br />commendation with respect to said application, but this City Council <br /> <br />has found that there are exceptional and extraordinary circum- <br /> <br />stance applying to said property which justify the granting of a <br /> <br />variance from the use of said property for residential purposes; <br /> <br />that the granting of an application for a variance in the use of <br /> <br />said property for business is necessary for the preservation and <br /> <br />enjoyment of substantial property rights of petitioner; and that <br /> <br />the granting of such application will not, i111der the circumstances <br /> <br />of this .case, materially effect adversely the health or safety of <br /> <br />persons residing or vV"orking in the neighborhood of said property of <br /> <br />the ar;plican t and will not, under the circumstances of this case, be <br /> <br />materially detrimental to the public welfare, or injurious to <br /> <br />property or improvements in the neighborhood of said property. <br /> <br />The property herein referred to is l~rticularly described <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />That certain real property situate in the City of Red- <br /> <br />wood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, particularly <br /> <br />described as follows: <br />
