<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 37:J-. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FINALLY VACATING UNUSED PORTION OF <br />MIDDLEFIELlD ROAD (FORMERLY WEBSTER STREET). <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Council of the City of Redwood City, on <br />July 15th, 1946 passed and adopted Resolution No. 363A declaring <br /> <br />its intention to vacate that certa~n portion of Middlefield Road <br /> <br />(formerly Webster street) extending from the northwesterly line <br /> <br />of Jefferson Avenue to a point where said street crosses a branch <br /> <br />of the Redwood Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS said Resolution No. 363A gave notice of the <br /> <br />intention of this City Council to vacate said unused portion of <br /> <br />Middlefield Road therein particularly described, and said Resolution <br /> <br />fixed the date August 5, 1946 as the date of he~ring in the City <br /> <br /> <br />Hall at the hour of eight o'clock p.m~ on said intention to vacate <br /> <br />said portion of Middlefield Road and gave notice therein of the <br /> <br />date, time and place fixed for said hearing; and <br /> <br />Whereas copies of said Resolution No.363A giving <br /> <br />notice of s.aid hearing on said objection were posted by the <br />Superintendent of Streets of the City of Redwood City conspicuously <br />along said street in at least three places and at least ten days <br /> <br />befo~e the date therein fixed for hearing, and said Resolution <br />No. 363A was published two ~imes in the Redwood City Tribune, a <br />daily fexcept Sunday) newspaper. published, printed and circu- <br />lated in the City of Redwood City, all as required by law; and <br /> <br />WIIEREAS <br /> <br />No <br /> <br />protest or objection to the closing <br /> <br />of said street was made at said hearing: <br />
