Staff attributes this variance to a very competitive <br />bidding market. Based on the bids received, staff believes that the low bid of <br />$118,875.00 is reasonable and recommends awarding the contract to Republic ITS, Inc. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />AL TERNA nvES <br />Council may choose not to award the contract and direct staff to modify the scope of <br />work and resolicit bids for this work. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Staff has previously secured grant funds totaling $64,860.00 for this project from the <br />Metropolitan Transportation Commission.
