From: Nico Posner
To: CD -Apollo Roias; GRP -City Council; Council -Diane Howard; CD -Mark Muenzer
Subject: Follow up regarding ADU ordinance vote
Date: Monday, March 8, 2021 10:43:41 PM
CAUTION: This email originated from outside your organization. Exercise caution when
opening attachments or clicking links, especially from unknown senders.
Hello Mayor Howard, City Council Members and Staff,
Thanks for the robust discussion and vote on ADUs this evening. I am glad that you achieved
a unanimous vote.
I know the ADU heights were the main topic of the ordinance and discussion, so can you
please clarify if the "grandfathering in" clause I have been advocating for is included in the
approved ordinance?
There were positive comments in support from Councilmember Reddy and others the earlier
motions, but no explicit mention (either way) in the motion which was finally voted upon.
I am hopeful that this clause will be included in the final version based on the support voiced
during the small time this sub -topic was discussed.
Thank you for your clarification.
Sincerely,
Nico Posner
