<br />If a load delivered to the MRF exceeds the 15 percent level above in Table 1, but the <br />Contractor considers it to be salvageable (or if the Authority directs that it be processed), <br />then the Contractor shall process it and will be entitled to the supplementary processing <br />fee provided for in Section 7.06.A for all Tons above the allowable level of <br />contamination. <br /> <br />If a load delivered to the Transfer Station exceeds the maximum contamination level in <br />Table 1 by five percent (50/0) or less, then the load shall be processed and Contractor will <br />be entitled to the supplementary processing fee provided for in Section 7.06.8 for all <br />Tons above the allowable level of contamination. <br /> <br />If a load delivered to the MRF is determined to contain contamination in excess of the <br />levels specified in Table 1, and is determined by the Authority to be unsalvageable, it is <br />to be delivered to the Designated Disposal Site by the Contractor. For this load, the <br />Contractor will be paid the Transfer Station fee per Section 7.03.A and the <br />Transportation Payment per Section 7.03.C for Solid Waste. The Contractor will not be <br />paid the MRF Fee per Section 7.03.8 for this load. <br /> <br />If a load delivered to the Transfer Station exceeds the applicable maximum <br />contamination level above by more than five percent (50/0) it is to be delivered to the <br />Designated Disposal Site by the Contractor. For example, if the maximum <br />contamination level is five percent (50/0), then a load which contains eleven percent <br />(110/0) or more of contamination is to be disposed. <br /> <br />In addition, if the measured contamination level in a load selected by Contractor to be <br />set aside for sampling exceeds the applicable maximum contamination level, then the <br />Authority will be responsible for the cost of the measurement procedure. <br /> <br />Facility Agreement, Attachment 2E <br />Contamination Measurement Methodology <br />Page 2 of 15 <br />
