<br />Transfer Station <br /> <br />"Transfer Station" means the building located at the Shoreway Center whose primary purpose is <br />to effect the transfer of Solid Waste from collection vehicles to Transfer Vehicles for more <br />efficient delivery to the Designated Disposal Site. <br /> <br />Universal Waste (or U-Waste) <br /> <br />"Universal Waste," or "U-Waste," means all wastes defined by Title 22, Subsections 66273.1 <br />through 66273.9 of the California Code of Regulations. These include, but are not limited to, <br />batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, mercury switches, and Electronic Waste. <br /> <br />Unpermitted Materials <br /> <br />"Unpermitted Materials" mean wastes or other materials that the Shoreway Center is not <br />permitted to receive, including Hazardous Waste and Hazardous Substances. <br /> <br />Used Motor Oil <br /> <br />"Used Motor Oil" means used motor oil from automobiles and other light duty vehicles which are <br />collected from cars at Residential Premises by the Collection Contractor. <br /> <br />Used Motor Oil Filter <br /> <br />"Used Motor Oil Filter" means a used motor oil filter from automobiles and other light duty <br />vehicles which is collected from Residential Premises by the Collection Contractor. <br /> <br />Transfer Vehicles <br /> <br />"Transfer Vehicles" mean the truck and trailer units used to transport Solid Waste from the <br />Shoreway Center to the Designated Disposal Site or other material to Designated Processing <br />Facilities. <br /> <br />White Goods <br />"White Goods" means refrigerators, stoves, hot water heaters, and similar large appliances. <br /> <br />SBWMA Facility Operations Agreement, Attachment 1 <br />Definitions <br /> <br />Page 1 0 of 1 0 <br />1967648.2 <br />
