<br />Self-Haul I Self-Haul Customer(s) <br />"Self-Haul / Self-Haul Customer(s)" means materials, and Customer(s) that haul these materials <br />to the Shoreway Center, other than the Collection Contractor( s). <br /> <br />Shoreway Center <br /> <br />"Shoreway Center" means the Shoreway Recycling and Disposal Center owned by the <br />Authority, located at 225 and 333 Shoreway Road, San Carlos, California. The Shoreway <br />Center contains the Transfer Station and the MRF. The Shoreway Center is also referred to as <br />the "SRDC," "Facility," and "Shoreway Environmental Center." <br /> <br />Single-Stream Recyclable Materials <br /> <br />"Single-Stream Recyclable Materials" shall mean Recyclable Materials which have been <br />commingled by the Generator and placed in a container for the purposes of collection. <br /> <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />"Solid Waste" means all putrescible and non-putrescible solid, semisolid, and liquid wastes, as <br />defined in California Public Resources Code Section 40191. For the purposes of this <br />Agreement, "Solid Waste" does not include abandoned vehicles and parts thereof, Hazardous <br />Waste or low-level radioactive waste, medical waste, Source Separated Recyclable Materials, <br />Source Separated Plant Materials, or Source Separated Organic Materials. <br /> <br />Source Separated <br />"Source Separated" means materials which otherwise would become Solid Waste, but which <br />have been segregated by the Generator, such as Recyclable Materials <?r Organic Materials, for <br />the purpose of reuse, Recycling, or composting, to be collected by the Collection Contractor. <br /> <br />State <br />"State" means the State of California. <br /> <br />Subcontractor <br /> <br />"Subcontractor" means a Person which has entered into a contract with the Contractor for the <br />performance of work that is necessary for the Contractor's fulfillment of its obligations under this <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />Term <br /> <br />"Term" means the Term of this Agreement. <br /> <br />Ton (or Tonnage) <br /> <br />"Ton (or Tonnage)" means a unit of measure for weight equivalent to 2,000 pounds where each <br />pound contains 16 ounces. <br /> <br />Targeted Recyclable Materials <br /> <br />"Targeted Recyclable Materials" means Acceptable Material(s). <br /> <br />SBWMA Facility Operations Agreement, Attachment 1 <br />Definitions <br /> <br />Page 9 of 10 <br />1967648.2 <br />
