The existing option to extend the <br />permit by one year will remain, for a total of a three-year validity period. <br />• Remove PD permit requirement from Condominium Permits, R-2 and "R" overlay <br />districts. <br />• Allow required useable open space to be located in the front yard area, where it is <br />currently prohibited in residential zoning districts. <br />• Allow duplexes and multifamily units to consist of attached or detached units, where <br />it is currently required to be in one building. <br />• Increase flexibility for determining the required front yard on corner lots, flag lots, <br />and irregular lots. <br />• Allow Low -Barrier Navigation Centers by right in mixed use zones, consistent with <br />state law. <br />• Clarify nonconforming provisions for repair of existing nonconforming structures <br />and modify Use Permit finding for expanding nonconforming uses. <br />Minor Cleanups <br />• Remove duplicate article for Reasonable Accommodations and other minor typo <br />corrections. <br />Pagel of 2 <br />2:i <br />
