Consultant shall prepare the draft Vision Zero Action Plan incorporating existing <br />conditions evaluations and relevant analysis conducted in Tasks 3-6. Technical data shall <br />be included in the appendix as appropriate. <br />City will review the draft plan and will send a consolidated set of comments to the <br />Consultant. After addressing City comments Consultant shall revise the draft report to <br />produce the final Vision Zero Action Plan. The final plan shall comply with Caltrans Local <br />Roadway Safety Plan grant requirements. <br />DELIVERABLES: <br />• Administrative Draft Vision Zero Action Plan <br />• Draft Vision Zero Action Plan <br />• Final Vision Zero Action Plan <br />Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan Development _J <br />Task 8- Bicycle and Pedestrian Needs Assessment <br />Consultant shall assess the active transportation needs in Redwood City to identify the <br />desired high-quality and connected bicycle and pedestrian network in the City. This task <br />shall be built upon Task 3 and previous identification of active transportation needs as <br />part of RWCmoves and other planning efforts such as the C/CAG's Countywide Bicycle <br />and Pedestrian Plan and Unincorporated San Mateo County Active Transportation Plan. <br />Key outcomes of the safety needs assessment in Task 5 will be incorporated into this <br />task. <br />ask 8.1. Recommended Low -Stress Bicycle Network <br />Consultant shall develop a recommended Citywide network of connected low -stress bicycle <br />routes that considers community and stakeholder input, existing facilities, identified gaps <br />and barriers, major destinations, and geographic distribution. The recommended network <br />shall support the needs of the community across all neighborhoods, create access to transit <br />and schools, enhance equity in access to high-quality transportation options, and have the <br />potential to shift commute mode share to the 2040 City goals. <br />Consultant may use the street typology and bicycle backbone network that were developed <br />as part of RWCmoves as the starting point, and update it to reflect the completed projects <br />and newly identified needs. <br />Task 8.2.
