Seat <br />belts are worn. <br />5.1 AWKWARD WRIST/ARM POSTURE. This behavior is considered safe when the worker maintains <br />the wrist in a neutral position, such as the handshake position. <br />5.2 AWKWARD BACK POSTURE. This behavior is considered safe when the workers maintain the <br />neutral "S" curve of the back. Use good lifting techniques by bending at the knees, lifting with legs, <br />avoid twisting and keep the load close to the body. <br />5.3 AWKWARD HEAD/NECK POSTURE. This behavior is considered safe when the worker ensures <br />the head is facing forward and in a neutral position. <br />5.4 OVER-EXERTION. This behavior is considered safe when arms and feet are anchored in a strength <br />position and not stretched out or over-extended. Such as pulling down on a 36" pipe wrench. <br />5.5 REPETITIVE/STATIC MOTION. This behavior is considered safe when a worker frequently returns <br />their body to the neutral position. Such as opening a valve using a wrench or standing by a machine <br />for an extended period, worker takes repeated rests. <br />5.6 CONTACT STRESS. This behavior is considered safe when the worker avoids prolonged resting, <br />pressing, or bracing against hard edges or surfaces. Such as leaning on piping to open a flange. <br />5.7 LIFTING. This behavior is considered safe when the worker uses correct lifting techniques to <br />minimize stress on their back. <br />5.8 COMPUTER USE.
