Approve claims and checks from April 12, 2021 - April 26, 2021 and the usual <br />and necessary payments through April 26, 2021 <br />7. PUBLIC HEARING <br />7.A. Zoning Ordinance amendments related to Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU) <br />Recommendation: <br />Waive first reading, and re -introduce Zoning Ordinance amendments to <br />Accessory Dwelling Unit requirements, retaining specified 2019 ADU Ordinance <br />privacy standards for detached second story ADUs, and applying these <br />regulations as well as maximum height standards to detached ADUs on <br />multifamily lots. <br />CEQA: <br />The adoption of an ordinance to implement State law pertaining to ADUs <br />(Government Code section 65852.2) is a statutory exemption from the California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Public Resources Code section <br />21080.17. Implementation of local requirements is not considered a project <br />under CEQA Guidelines Section 15378. The implementation of both height - <br />related standards and additional regulations related to short-term rentals <br />(generally prohibiting), and ordinance effectiveness would be covered under the <br />"common sense exemption" (CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3)) <br />8. STAFF REPORTS <br />8.A.
