The City's current
ERP system was developed over 30 years ago, and includes critical functions such as Budgeting and
Reporting, Business License Tax, Finance, Grant and Project Tracking, Human Resources/Payroll, and
Utility Billing. Upgrading these systems is a key means to improving staff efficiency and proceeding with
these improvements has been a multi-year goal.
The City's chosen approach involved a combination of software solutions:
• HdL software and services for business license tax and transient occupancy tax management.
• OpenGov software for budgeting, performance and citizen engagement.
City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.ore
11
