6.A. - Page 1 of 24 <br />/<�ik <br />Redwood <br />CitylCallifornia <br />Faunded 1867 <br />A,&/ <br />DATE: April 12, 2021 <br />SUBJECT <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />Amendment Number 2 to the agreement with CherryRoad Technologies to implement a new Financial <br />and Human Capital Management (HCM) Software and Services as part of the City's Enterprise Resource <br />Planning (ERP) Replacement <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 with CherryRoad <br />Technologies (CRT), extending the go -live dates for the implementation and support of Oracle Fusion <br />Cloud Financials and Human Capital Management software suite. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Excellence in Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />On April 8, 2019, staff presented the City Council with a comprehensive update on a vendor selection <br />process for a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and the proposed phased approach to <br />implementation of the various individual technology systems included in the project. The City's current <br />ERP system was developed over 30 years ago, and includes critical functions such as Budgeting and <br />Reporting, Business License Tax, Finance, Grant and Project Tracking, Human Resources/Payroll, and <br />Utility Billing.
