6.D. - Page 3 of 21 <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The current contract amount is included in the 2020-21 Capital Improvement Program in the Measure A <br />Fund under the Traffic Calming project, and has an available budget balance of $494,238 as of April 12, <br />2021. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />The proposed agreement is not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) because <br />as an agreement for design -related work, it will not result in any physical impacts on the environment. <br />Future construction of the project will be categorically exempt from the requirements of CEQA pursuant <br />to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301(c), Class 1 ("Existing Facilities") for the repair and maintenance of <br />existing highways and streets with negligible or no expansion of an existing use. The proposed <br />improvements for this project will occur to existing streets with no expansion of road capacity.
