6.M. - Page 18 of 22 <br />vehicle by and bearing the insignia of the State of California or any other state or <br />federal agency having the authority to approve recreational vehicles and shall <br />include the following: <br />a. a camp trailer (as defined by California Vehicle Code Section 242); <br />b. a fifth wheel travel trailer (as defined by California Vehicle Code Section <br />324); <br />c. a house car (as defined by California Vehicle Code Section 362); <br />d. a trailer (as defined by California Vehicle Code Section 630); <br />e. a trailer coach (as defined by California Vehicle Code Section 635); <br />f. a mobile home (as defined by California Vehicle Code Section 396); <br />g. a park trailer (as defined in California Health & Safety Code Section <br />18009.3); <br />h. a recreational vehicle (as defined in California Health & Safety Code <br />Section 18010); and <br />L a truck camper (as defined in California Health & Safety Code Section <br />18013.4). <br />5). "RV Safe Parking Permit" shall mean a permit to park the RV, which is issued <br />to a Program Participant as part of the Temporary Safe Parking Program. <br />6). "Temporary Safe Parking Program" shall mean the two-year Temporary <br />Recreational Vehicle (RV) Safe Parking Program approved by the Redwood City <br />Council via Resolution No. 15881 on August 24, 2020, as may be amended from <br />time to time, which creates among other things, a Parking Site for temporary <br />parking. The " Temporary Safe Parking Program" shall not be considered <br />"Emergency Shelter" pursuant to Zoning Code section 25.8 — S. <br />7). "Social Service Provider" shall mean LifeMoves, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit <br />organization that has contracted with the City to manage the Temporary Safe <br />Parking Program. The term "Social Service Provider" shall also include any other <br />agency or organization licensed or supervised by any federal, state or local <br />health/welfare agency that has contracted with the City and has demonstrated <br />experience with the homeless population by assisting individuals and families <br />achieve economic self-sufficiency and self-determination through a <br />comprehensive array of programs and actions. <br />ATTY/ORD.533/CC ORD SAFE PARKING PROGRAM <br />REV: 04-06-21 RL <br />Page 14 of 18 <br />372 <br />
