EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />I. Scope of Work <br />Contractor will furnish all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to perform <br />services needed to properly maintain the traffic signals, lighted crosswalks, and street <br />lighting owned by the City. Contractor will also assist with the conversion of the City's <br />existing street lights to LEDS and complete Underground Service Alerts (USA) requests <br />in the City's service area, as needed. <br />Contractor will provide 24-hour emergency phone service and have technicians available <br />24 -hours per day, seven days per week to respond to all emergency calls in a timely <br />manner, meeting or exceeding the response standards described below. <br />Traffic Signals: <br />1 <br />Emergency and accident response <br />One (1) Hour or less <br />2 <br />Outages and signal malfunctions <br />Two (2) Hours or less <br />3 <br />Replacement of burned out signal lamps <br />Two (2) Hours or less <br />4 <br />Safety street -lighting <br />Forty-eight (48) Hours or less <br />Street-Liahtina: <br />1 <br />Emergency and accident response <br />One (1) Hour or less <br />2 <br />Outages and malfunctions <br />Forty-eight (48) Hours or less <br />Permanent repair work generated from normal maintenance and emergency response <br />will be completed as soon as possible, and in all cases within twenty-one (21) calendar <br />days or less, unless extended in writing by the Public Works Superintendent. <br />Signal Turn -Off and Signal On Flash: <br />Contractor will immediately notify the City's Police Department and Public Works <br />Department of any signal turn-offs or signal -on -flash necessitated by Contractor's <br />operations in excess of fifteen (15) minutes. <br />Spare Equipment: <br />Contractor will maintain adequate storage and shop facilities and a sufficient stock of fully <br />tested controllers, spare parts and signal equipment to effectively maintain the City's <br />traffic signals. <br />Salvaged Equipment: <br />Contractor will either hold in Contractor's shop and storage facilities, or deliver to a <br />location designated by the City, any salvageable equipment or materials per the direction <br />of the Public Works Superintendent or Public Works Director.
