EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant shall assist the City with the full-scale remediation bid, access agreements, <br />provide full-scale remediation oversight, and as requested and approved by the City, <br />perform ongoing groundwater monitoring services. Specific tasks that the Consultant <br />shall perform are outlined below. <br />Task 1 — Completion of Remedial Design & Bidding <br />Based on any ongoing discussions between the City and the two property owners <br />(Albertsons/Safeway and Regency), as needed, Consultant shall consult on how to <br />optimize remedial design details presented in the approved Remedial Design <br />Implementation Plan (RDIP), which includes considerations related to updated third -party <br />conceptual site redevelopment plans, to remain consistent with the remedial objectives <br />of the RDIP. <br />a. Task 1.1 — Coordination with Property Owners and for Access Agreements <br />Consultant shall engage in ongoing communications with the City and <br />property owners, as needed, to support the planned remedial activities, <br />including remote videoconference meetings, phone calls, and other <br />necessary communications. Consultant shall also provide ongoing review of <br />draft access agreements with the property owners and related consultation <br />with the City, as needed. <br />b. Task 1.2 — Assist with Bid Documents for Remediation Activities <br />As needed, Consultant shall assist the City with finalizing the proposed scope <br />of work for the City's solicitation for the contractor performing the full-scale <br />remediation work. As requested, Consultant shall compile relevant <br />remediation plans and documentation for the City's advertisement of the full- <br />scale remediation solicitation. Consultant shall also attend a bid -walk for the <br />advertised work and assist with the City's responses to bidder questions, as <br />needed. <br />C. Task 1.3 — Assist with Remediation Bid Evaluations & Award <br />After receipt of bids for the full-scale remediation work, Consultant shall <br />summarize the contractor submittals and provide their recommendation to <br />the City regarding the contractor bids. <br />Task 2 — Oversight of ZVI and EVO Injection Activities <br />a. Task 2.1 — Kick-off Meeting, HASP & Permits <br />Following the City's award to the remediation -drilling contractor, Consultant <br />shall attend a kick-off meeting with the City and the selected remediation <br />drilling contractor to discuss the contractor's pre -construction deliverables, <br />project -specific health and safety plan (HASP), implementation plan, and <br />schedule.
