ABATEMENT SERVICES AGREEMENT

The SAN MATEO COUNTY MOSQUITO AND VECTOR CONTROL DISTRICT (“District”) and CITY OF
REDWOOD CITY (“Owner”) agree as follows:

1. The District will perform abatement services for the Owner’s problem site as described below. The District
will, as reasonably necessary, develop and implement mosquito surveillance and control activities with its own
personnel, materials and equipment at the problem site.

2. Problem site: The catch basin storm drain system in the presently developed areas of Redwood Shores.

3. Owner shall reimburse District man-hours $62.86* (dollars per man-hour and material costs not to exceed a
total of $45,000). The District will bill Owner for actual services and materials rendered. Owner will pay for
such services within 30 days of receipt of each bill.

4. The occurrence of any unusual problems that would require additional labor, equipment and materials, will
necessitate a change order as an addendum to this agreement. It is understood that any changes would be
mutually agreed to prior to the initiation of the order. All additional costs related to change orders would be
negotiated separately.

5. This agreement shall be effective July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022. Either party may terminate the
agreement upon 30 days’ written notice to the other party.

6.
