10 <br /> <br />9. Skilled Craft Services <br />i. Carpentry <br />Facility Services carpenters will perform maintenance and repairs as <br />needed as determined by the County Facilities Services, or upon <br />reasonable request by Contractor, and approval by County on roofs, <br />doors, windows, water damaged areas and hard surface floors in <br />common areas. Facilities Services will also patch and repair chips and <br />holes in walls. Other carpentry services are available on a fee for services <br />basis {see Section IV). <br />ii. Lock Work <br />Locksmith services provided under baseline services Include the repair or <br />replacement of broken building locksets (excluding Contractor property <br />such as file cabinets and desk), repair or adjustment of improperly <br />working door closers; providing duplicate keys with proper authorization; <br />re-keying locks for security reasons as determined necessary by Facilities <br />Services; replacing worn or outdated locksets; and any work required <br />because of new codes and regulations, as determined by Facilities <br />Services. Keys for or repairs to County property, including but not limited <br />to desks, file cabinets, and vehicles are beyond the facility service charge <br />and will be repaired by the contractor using funding from the animal <br />control services Contract Funds. <br />10. Grounds Services <br />i. Landscaping <br />Facilities Services is responsible for providing and monitoring the <br />landscaping services for the Shelter. Under this contract, and as <br />determined necessary or desirable by Facilities Maintenance, the <br />landscaping crews will install and maintain irrigation systems; propagate <br />and plant appropriate species; prune, trim, fertilize, now, and provide all <br />other care and maintenance for plants, shrubs, trees, turf, and lawns. <br />11. Custodial and Janitorial Services <br />Contractor shall maintain all interior and exterior areas of the Shelter and <br />grounds in a clean and sanitary condition.
