REV: 07-15-2021 SK <br />assistance. Subrecipient will provide relocation assistance to displaced persons as defined <br />by 24 CFR Section 570.606(b)(2) that are displaced as a direct result of acquisition, <br />rehabilitation, demolition or conversion for a CDBG-assisted project. Subrecipient will <br />comply with applicable City’s Relocation Assistance Ordinance (Redwood City Code <br />Chapter 42), resolutions and policies concerning the displacement of persons from their <br />residences. <br />22. COMPLIANCE WITH ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS. Subrecipient will <br />comply with the following requirements insofar as they apply to the performance of this <br />Agreement: National Environmental Policy Act (42 U.S.C., 4321, et seq.); Clean Air Act <br />(42 U.S.C., 7401, et seq.); Federal Water Pollution Control Act (as amended, 33 U.S.C., <br />1251, et seq., as amended, 1318 relating to inspection, monitoring, entry, reports, and <br />information as well as other requirements specified in Section 114 and Section 308 of the <br />Clean Air Act and Federal Water Pollution Control Act and all regulations and guidelines <br />issued thereunder); Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations pursuant to 40 <br />CFR Part 50, as amended; Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973 (42 U.S.C. 4001); HUD <br />Lead-Based Paint Regulations at 24 CFR Section 570.608, and 24 CFR Part 35, Subpart <br />B; and National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended (54 U.S.C. 300101, et seq.) <br />and the procedures set forth in 36 CFR Part 800, Advisory Council on Historic Preservation <br />Procedures for Protection of Historic Properties. <br />23. NON-DISCRIMINATION AND EQUAL OPPORTUNITY. Subrecipient warrants <br />and agrees it will not discriminate against any persons seeking services or employment <br />under this agreement because of their age (40 and above), physical or mental disability, <br />marital status, race, color, national origin or ancestry, veteran status, religion, sex, <br />pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions, gender (including gender identity and <br />gender expression or perception), sexual orientation, medical condition, use of family <br />medical leave, or genetic testing, in the provision of services or extension of employment <br />opportunities under the Agreement.
