REV: 03-15-2022 VR <br />Exhibit “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Consultant shall provide the following services under the direction of the Public <br />Communications Manager and other City Staff in the City Manager’s Office on an as <br />needed basis. <br />Description Rate <br />Translation of documents and City website $.40 cents per word <br />Interpretation of live events/meetings <br />*simultaneous <br />$175 per hour two hours minimum <br />Interpretation of Live events/meetings <br />*continuous <br />$190 per hour two hours minimum <br />Interpreting equipment for in-person events $50 per hour <br />Travel expenses $.60 cents per mile <br />Urgent requests online/in-person (same <br />day or next day events) <br />$200 per hour <br />Events on weekends, or events before <br />8AM and after 6PM <br />$20 extra per hour <br />More than 8hrs per day 1.5% extra <br />*Interpreters are entitled to a 15-minute break once they work for 4hrs or more, and a <br />30-minute lunch break when working for 6hrs or more. <br />**All events that last more than 2hrs require the attendance of two interpreters. <br />Consultant will invoice the City on a per translation service completed. <br />ATTY/AGR.2022 - Amend No. 4/Being Lab (Page 4 of 4)
