35 <br /> <br />8. When staffing is available, supply 1-2 staff members during disasters that can rotate <br />into the emergency operations center as needed by the County. <br />9. Ensure that all staff and volunteers responding to the disaster have completed ICS 100 <br />& 700, as well as trained to the animal care and handling standards of the Contractor. <br />10. Train with other non-profits and groups in the County on evacuations, sheltering set <br />ups and communications during a disaster, etc. <br />J. Mutual Aid <br />Contractor will: <br />1. Respond during a disaster in other Counties when requested by the San Mateo County <br />Emergency Operations Center. Shelter and Field services must continue to operate in <br />San Mateo County when providing support to other jurisdictions. Contractor shall use <br />reasonable efforts to make staff available to assist with mutual aid, as requested and, <br />when the Contractor reasonably determines that it is unable to do so, shall promptly <br />provide a detailed written explanation of why it is unable to do so. <br />2. Contractor will work directly with San Mateo County Health and EOC during a disaster <br />for mutual aid needs or supplies. <br />K. Recovery <br />Contractor will: <br />1. Work with animal owners on the pickup of their animals that have been cared for <br />during the disaster. Thirty (30) days of Shelter fees can be waived by Contractor due to <br />the disaster and include documentation in the database. If that animal needs to be held <br />longer and more fees should be waived, Contractor will get approval from the County. <br />2. For those animals that owners wish to relinquish, the Contractor will look at alternative <br />placement options for the animals such as adoptions, foster homes, or partner groups. <br />3. Plan Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) <br />4. Within six (6) months of signing the agreement, Contractor will create a COOP for the <br />provision of all contracted services in the event of a natural disaster or other significant <br />unanticipated event that might otherwise disrupt services. Plan to be provided to the <br />County annually. <br /> <br />VII. REPORTING <br />Provider will provide the following reports as specified within the required time period. <br />Monthly Reports DUE <br />1. Live animal intake kennel statistics (counts and <br />percentages) by: <br />Animal, including dogs, cats, other domestic <br />animals, and wildlife, Intake type, including <br />owner-surrender, confiscated, stray, owner- <br />requested, Outcome, adoption, reclaim, transfer, <br />euthanasia, died, missing, owner-requested <br />Upon Invoicing <br /><br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
