13 <br /> <br />Section V. Excluded Services <br />A. This Agreement does not include any of the following which will be Contractor <br />responsibility: <br />Contractor shall be solely responsible for maintaining the below items. Money for all repairs and <br />costs will come from the Contract Funds. Any such items undertaken by Contractor shall be <br />documented and all invoices for any such work, shall be kept and provided to County on a <br />quarterly basis. For major equipment owned by the County (as listed In subsection (d) below, <br />and any similar equipment), Contractor shall use a reputable, qualified, and licensed contractor <br />or vendor, and may not use its own employees or volunteers for such work without County <br />approval. If employees or volunteers are used for work, no additional County funds shall be <br />used for such labor, except those funds otherwise used to pay the employee's regular salary. <br />Contractor agrees that all major equipment owned by the County (as listed In subsection (d) <br />below, and any similar equipment) will be serviced by a qualified vendor. <br />1. Light bulb replacement to include lamps and ballast <br />2. Plumbing clogs: Contractor will first attempt to unclog and if unsuccessful will <br />submit a request to Facilities Services for repair. (Contractor may not hire a <br />service to attempt to unclog pipes.) <br />3. Equipment maintenance and repair as follows: <br />x Washers/dryers <br />x Kennel cleaning equipment <br />x Safes, lock boxes <br />x Clippers <br />x Surgical tables <br />x Audio visual equipment camera, security and intrusion alarms <br />x Computers/printers/scanners etc. and phone system <br />x Cash Registers/credit card machines, fax machine etc. <br />x Any other specialty equipment for animal sheltering <br />x Refrigerators <br />4. These items must be repaired by a qualified vendor <br />x X-ray equipment <br />x Anesthetic machine <br />x Surgical lights <br />x Auto clave <br />5. Kennel fencing repairs, to include the replacement of mud flaps or guillotine <br />doors, door latches etc. (if CMU needs repair, the Contractor will submit a repair <br />request to the Manager of Animal Control and Licensing for approval prior to <br />contacting Facilities Services) <br />6. General: <br />x Repair office furniture <br />x Anchor files and shelving <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
