RES 0 L UTI 0 N NO. 590 AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF SALE OF REAL PROPERTY (ARMORY SITE) WHEREAS the State of California is desirous of obtain- in the Cit~l.of Redwood City ing a site for an armory for the National Guar~; and WHEREAS an appropriate site has been agreed upon; and ~rlEREAS, by the provisions of Paragr~ph 18, Section 3 of the Charter of Redwood City notice must be published prior to the sale of any property owned by the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the City Attorney be instructed to publish notice of sale of the property hereinafter described; FURTHER RESOLVED that prior to the sale of said prop- erty, an appraiser be appointed to determine the value of said property. The property referred to herein is all that real prop- erty in the City of Redwood City,. County of San Mateo, State of California, more particularly described as follows: PARCEL 1. A portion of Lot numbered twenty-one (21) as sho't"ln on that cer- tain map entitled "Wooster, Whitton and Montgomery's Subdivision of a part of the Redwood Farm II , which map was filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County on July 9, 1902 in Bool,c liEu of Original Maps at page 31 and copied into Book 3 of Maps at page 10, described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on the Southwesterly boundary of said Lot ~l, distant thereon 150 feet Northwesterly from the Northwester- ly line of Roosevelt Avenue; thence from said point of beginning Northwesterly along said Southwesterly boundary 263.5 feet; thence Northeasterly parallel with said line of Roosevelt Avenue 277.7 feet to the Northeasterly boundary of said Lot 21; thence Southeasterly along said Northeasterly boundary 263.5 feet; thence Southw'esterly parallel with said line of Roosevelt Avenue 277.7 feet to the point of beginning.
