<br />~ _. .._ _. _',~"'!J <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />N 0 Jy1 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING SALE OF PROPERTY TO <br />THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF AN ARMORY FOR <br />THE NATIONAL GUARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS the real property hereinafter described has here- <br />tofore been appraised by a competent appraiser appointed by the <br />Council of the City ot Redwood City, and publio notice ot the <br />sale ot said property oontaining a legal desoription thereot <br />has been duly given for at least two weeks in the Redwood City <br />Tribune, a newspaper published daily except Sunday in the Oity <br />of Redwood City, as appears from the Affidavit of Publication <br />now on file with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS C. D. O'SULLIVAN, Adjutant General on behalf ot <br />the state of California, has made a written bid for the purchase <br />of said property and has offered therein to pay the sum of One <br />Dollar ($1.00) and other valuable oonsideration, whioh bid is <br />the highest and best bid for said property in accordance with <br />said Notice of Sale thereotj <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said bid of said C. D. <br />O'Sullivan, Adjutant General on behalf of the State of California, <br />to purchase said property for the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) and <br />other valuable oonsideration, be and the same is hereby accepted <br />and said property is hereby sold to the State of California for <br /> <br />said sum; <br /> <br />FURTHER RESOLVED, that said property 1s sold subject to the <br />following oondition: that the State will commenee oonstruotion <br />of a State Armory on the premises within three (3) years from the <br />date hereof, and will thereafter prosecute suoh construotion to <br />completion with due diligence. Upon failure to so commence the <br />construction of such State Armory, title shall revert to the <br /> <br />grantor. <br /> <br />-1- <br />
