VffiEREAS, under the provisions or that certain Act or the Legislature of the State of California entitled "An Act to Provide ror the Alteration or the Boundaries or Incorporated Towns and Cities by the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Thereto and ror the Incorporation of such Annexed Territory in and as a Part or such Municipality, and ror the Districting, Government and Municipal Control of such Annexed Terri tory", I (statutes 1939, Chapter 297, Deering's General Laws, Act #5162), proceedings for the annexation to the City of Redwood City of the territory hereinafter particularly described have been initiated by the riling or a petition for annexation to the City of Redwood City of the Territory hereinafter described by A. G. FRANK, BETSY FRANK, ARCHIE KLANG and ELEANOR KLANG, the owners of property in said territory proposed to be annexed. AND WHEREAS, the exterior boundaries or said territory described in said petition and which territory is contiguous to the limits or the City or Redwood City, County or San Mateo, State or Calirornia, are described as rollows, to-wit: Beginning at the most northeasterly corner of Lot 1 as said lot is shown on that certain map entitled "Tract No. 523, Subdivision or Portion or the Horgan Ranch, San :N1ateo County, Calif. ff recorded March 17, 1940, in Book 23 or Maps at Page 40, records or San Mateo County, California; thence from said point of beginning S 90 55' W 877.91 reet along the easterly line of said sub- division of Horgan Ranch to the most southeasterly corner of Lot 8 in said subdivision; thence N 800 05' \IV 200.00 feet along t he southerly line of said Lot 8 to the easterly line of State Highway Route 107 being 66.00 feet in width and commonly -1-
