<br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />DRAFT <br /> <br />August 9, 2010 <br /> <br />Re: Contract Amendment #4 - Redwood City <br />Saltworks Development Proposal <br />Oversight and Programmatic of Environmental and Development Review Process <br /> <br />We are pleased to submit our proposed amendment to our on-going contract with Redwood City. <br />Attached you will find a Schedule of Values (SOV) as Exhibit A, that summarizes our estimated <br />monthly fees and anticipated schedule for August through June 2011, (11 months). <br /> <br />The Assignment. We will continue to assist the City in reviewing and processing the Saltworks <br />application. This includes coordination of a full consultant team, management of the application <br />development review process, and oversight and assistance in managing the environmental review <br />(CEQA and NEP A). <br /> <br />Our team's work would continue to move ahead on three main tasks over the next 11 months: <br /> <br />Task One Oversight and Management of Environmental Review Process - where we <br />I provide programmatic assistance and management to the City and associated staff. lbis includes <br />helping to coordinate contracts, consultants, schedules, the Environmental Review Management <br />Team (EMIT) meetings and Hauge Brueck Associates to craft an efficient, credible and robust <br />CEQA process. <br /> <br />Task Two Development Review- where we continue to represent the City in on-going <br />development review meetings to assist in providing feedback, direction and policy guidance to the <br />applican t. <br /> <br />T ask Three Communications Support - \'X1here we work 'with the City and the ERMT to <br />ensure that a transparent and robust public participation process occurs in relation to the <br />processing of the Saltworks development proposal. <br /> <br />At the completion of the 11 month term, an updated scope of services will be prepared. <br />
