REV: 10-05-21 RL <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide recycled <br />water and cross-connection program consultation and supports services on an as-needed <br />basis. If requested by the Recycled Water Superintendent or their designee, Consultant <br />shall perform any of the following tasks as delineated below. <br />Task 1 - Assist the City with retrofitting potential recycled water users <br />Task 1.1 - Perform customer engagement and outreach <br />Consultant shall identify potential customers that could be converted from non-potable <br />systems to recycled water. Non-potable systems include irrigation systems, cooling <br />towers, buildings, urinals and toilets, and any other non-potable systems as approved in <br />Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations. <br />Potential customers will be identified based on their proximity of an existing or proposed <br />recycled water distribution mainline and annual non-potable demands based on the City <br />billing records. Consultant will meet with the City to discuss and finalize the list of potential <br />customers. <br />Consultant shall prepare and send to each identified customer a recycled water <br />information letter that will include, but is not limited to, the following: <br />The City recycled water system <br />Benefits of using recycled water <br />City and West Yost contact information <br />Next steps <br />If approved by the Recycled Water Superintendent or their designee, Consultant may <br />meet at the customer facility to discuss the recycled water conversion process with the <br />customer. <br />Consultant shall submit electronically in PDF format to the City: <br />A draft outreach letter within two weeks of the City notice to proceed with this task <br />A final outreach letter within one week of receipt of City comments <br />Task 1.2 - Perform site surveys and prepare site survey reports for customers <br />Consultant shall conduct a general site evaluation with the presence of the landscape <br />maintenance company or site’s representative to assess the overall requirements of <br />converting a non-potable system to recycled water. Consultant shall invite the City to <br />attend the site evaluation. As part of the investigation, Consultant shall take <br />representative pictures of the site. <br />Consultant shall conduct, if possible, an initial one-way (non-potable system only) <br />standard or pressure cross-connection shutdown test.
