Since the <br />development project area is small relative to the floodplain, the improvements necessary <br />to reduce flood risk at the site may be too large relative to this development project. <br />Therefore, the proposed recommendations will include approaches such as <br />floodproofing, site improvements such as raising, flood gates, etc. The design of the <br />improvements are not a part of this scope. <br />Deliverable(s): Site floodplain assessment memorandum <br />Schedule <br />The work will be executed over 3 weeks. <br />Compensation <br />Consultant shall perform the Scope of Services described for an amount not to exceed <br />Fifteen Thousand Two Hundred Forty and 00/100 Dollars ($15,240). Consultant shall be <br />paid for time and materials spent at the end of the month payable within (30) days <br />following City’s receipt of acceptable deliverables.
