Implement a program to digitally <br />map historical hazard events and future hazard events and impacts. <br />High High Low <br />CW-5—Develop a multilingual and culturally appropriate business outreach <br />program, in concert with existing business organizations and planning partners, to <br />educate businesses on risk and risk reduction and to identify policies and <br />programs to help businesses become more resilient. <br />High High Low <br />CW-6: Develop model policy templates to assist with coordinated development and <br />implementation of resiliency policies, such as the Safety Elements. <br />High High Low <br /> <br />IMPLEMENTATION <br />The Steering Committee developed an implementation and maintenance strategy that includes monitoring of the <br />plan’s implementation, annual progress reporting, a strategy for continued public involvement, plan integration <br />with other relevant plans and programs, and establishment of a subcommittee to oversee implementation progress <br />relative to Community Rating System credits, for jurisdictions that belong to the Community Rating System. <br /> <br />Full implementation of the recommendations of this plan will require time and resources. The measure of the <br />plan’s success will be its ability to adapt to changing conditions. San Mateo County and its planning partners will <br />assume responsibility for adopting the recommendations of this plan and committing resources toward <br />implementation. The framework established by this plan commits all planning partners to pursue actions when the <br />benefits of a project exceed its costs.
